HOW TO GET TO UNA UNA

Although it takes some time to get to Una Una island, we assure you it’s going to be worth every minute of your travel!

It doesn’t matter if you choose the route from the north or the south.

We will help you arrange transportation in any case.

Travel from North

There are flights every day from Jakarta – Gorontalo, or connection flights from Bali – Makassar – Gorontalo, or from Manado – Gorontalo. From Gorontalo Airport, you can take a car/taxi to the ferry port or the city center to stay overnight before departing.

MOST COMMON WAY TO TOGEAN ISLANDS

Take an overnight ferry to Wakai, Togean islands. Tuna Tomini public overnight ferry from Gorontalo to Wakai runs twice a week. Count on 1 hour travel time from the Gorontalo airport to the ferry terminal.

Gorontalo – Wakai (12 hours): Tuesdays and Fridays 5 pm

Wakai – Gorontalo (12 hours): Monday and Thursday 5 pm

You can also take an overnight ferry that goes directly to Una Una with Tolaut Nusatara 38.

Gorontalo – Una Una (15 hours): runs every 9 days

YOU HAVE 3 OPTIONS ON THE FERRY:

1) sleep on economy class for Rp 64,000 (no AC),
2) business class with AC for Rp 89,000, and you can rent a mattress for Rp 10,000,
3) full cabin for Rp 600,000 for a maximum of 4 people.

FAST WAY VIA MARISA TO UNA UNA

From Gorontalo, take a private car to Marisa (2-3 hours; 600,000 IDR) where you can hop on a private boat to Una Una island.

Boat prices start from 6,000,000 IDR, travel time is between 1,5 and 3 hours.

Travel from South

FLYING VIA LUWUK (LUW)

From Luwuk, you can take a public car for 200,000 IDR (6+ hours) per person or hire a private car for 800,000 IDR (5+ hours) to Ampana.

VIA PALU (PLW)

By land

From Palu you can take a private car for 1,000,000 IDR (9+ hours) to Ampana.

By Air

Susi Air flies from Palu (PLW) to Ampana (OJU) on Fridays and Mondays.

ENTERING TOGEAN ISLANDS VIA AMPANA

Several boats go daily from Ampana to Wakai.

Hercules: 9 AM; 150,000 IDR

Bura Bura/Touna express: 10 AM; 100,000 IDR

Manakara: 12 PM; 130,000 IDR

FAST AND FURIOUS WAY TO UNA UNA

Sanctum private speedboat takes approximately 1 hour and cost 950,000 IDR per boat, maximum 6 people.

ENJOY THE RIDE

Local wooden boat takes 2 to 3 hours and costs 800,000 IDR, can be shared by maximum of 6 people.

There is a possibility of seeing dolphins during the boat ride from Wakai to Una Una when good weather conditions!

If you would like to travel around the Togean Islands, it’s generally easier to start with Una Una and then hop on to other islands by boat from here.

AROUND WAKAI

Sunset Beach is located 10 minutes by boat ride away from Wakai harbor and the accommodation prices start from 200,000 IDR per person.
