About Us
Our dive resort in Central Sulawesi is located on Una Una Island, part of the Togean Islands in the Gulf of Tomini, Indonesia.
Only 17 km away from the equator!
Thanks to being part of the coral triangle, Una Una boasts rich and healthy marine biodiversity, featuring stunning coral reefs and massive schools of fish. The underwater life around Una Una is similar to Raja Ampat and Papua, but with more barracudas and fewer sharks.
Una Una is home to over 1,000 reef fish species, huge corals, clear waters, massive schools of fish, rays, turtles, barracuda tornadoes, and remarkable ancient corals up to 3,000 years old.
This is an extremely remote paradise island that offers spectacular diving and it’s a perfect getaway spot.
Our Mission at Sanctum
“Stronger Together”
We, at Sanctum Una Una, are very active in many different local environmental activities. We are always happy to help and be part of different community programs that support the local people or improve our environment and it`s future.
Sanctum Una Una organises regular beach clean ups with the guest and the local school kids, sharing the knowledge of the harmful pollution, which we are facing all around the world. Sanctum teaches in the local school about waste management and the basics of the underwater world, while also giving the children the opportunity to experience the underwater world by snorkelling and scuba diving.
Planting trees, mangroves and giving basic knowledge to a permaculture way of gardening to the local kids opens up the eyes how easy it can be to help the planet earth and to be able to grow your own vegetables from the seeds that they can find in their surrounding.
Sanctum Una Una also organises underwater clean ups with the guest, volunteers and staff. In a dive called Eco Dive, we are cleaning the dive sites from the fishing lines and other litter.
One of the sucessfull completed programs is the reduction of the Crown of Thorns Star Fish in 2019. Together with Togean Conservation Foundation, we moved the Crown of Thorns from the coral reefs. This perticular Star Fish population grew up in massive number eating corals while they were moving. With the help of many volunteers, we were able to reduce the numbers of the starfishes into healthy numbers.

From entry level to dive instructor, our instructors are committed to provide you with the best training possible.
At Sanctum Una Una, we offer courses certified with ADIP, and SSI scuba dive organizations. Our instructors are proficient in various specialties such as Nitrox, Sidemount, Deep, Night, Photography, DPV & Wreck. Courses are available in multiple languages: English, Indonesian, French, and Spanish.
